Happy Thanksgiving!

I know it's been a while since I posted but I have excuses:  I was on a grandkid bender. Two in the Midwest, five in the Northeast before coming back to the two who live near us. Nine in twelve days!
No wonder I haven't had a minute. It was great fun though and heart-warming and I wish they all lived nearby so that such benders could happen more often...
Meanwhile I have been planning posts in my head and if all goes well, here is what's in the works for the coming weeks (not necessarily in that order):

100% Rye Bread à la Hanne Risgaard

Sprouted Spelt Bread

Rye Levain Management à la Andrew Whitley (of Bread Matters)

Meet the Baker: Byron Fry

Cheddar-Beer-Barley Bread à la Andrew Ross

So please stay tuned and have a wonderful holiday!

  2. I made a sprouted spelt bread once (adaptation of Peter Reinhart's recipe for a sprouted wheat loaf), it was very nice. And another barley bread, great!

    Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!
